Indicativamente deve essere tenuta dopo aver introdotto i diversi sistemi di numerazione, in particolare il sistema di numerazione binario, insiame alle principali porte logiche. La lezione teorica sull'argomento è prevista sia di quattro ore, due lezioni di due ore ciascuna.
